What we collect
Contact form: your name, company, work email, mobile number (optional), number of users and your message.
Emails and calls: what you choose to send or tell us.
Technical data: our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, processes your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. We do not use this to identify you.
What we do not collect: this website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics or third-party trackers (the contact form's security check is described below). Fonts are served from our own website. The readiness checklist keeps your ticks in your own browser (local storage) and never sends them to us; clearing your browser data removes them.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and arrange an assessment: because you asked us to, and as a step before any agreement.
To prepare proposals and provide the services you engage us for: to perform our agreement with you.
To keep the records UAE law requires, such as accounting and tax records: to meet our legal obligations.
To keep this website and our systems secure: our legitimate interest in protecting them.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask to receive them.
Who receives it
Microsoft, as our service provider for email, document storage (Microsoft 365) and website hosting (Azure), under its data protection terms. Information may be stored or processed in Microsoft data centres outside the UAE, under contractual safeguards.
Cloudflare, for the security check on the contact form (Turnstile), which tells people from automated spam. It processes technical information about your browser and connection for that check only, and does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Our professional advisers, such as accountants and auditors, where necessary, and public authorities where the law requires it.
No one else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
Client records: for the term of the agreement, then for as long as UAE law requires for accounting and tax records.
Hosting logs: for the short period set by Microsoft for operating and securing the service.
Your rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and any other data protection law that applies to you, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy in a portable format where applicable, and to withdraw consent you have given.
Email info@nodeward.net. We may need to confirm your identity, and we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it. Our accounts use multi-factor authentication, and information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest in Microsoft 365.
Information in our client work
Information we handle while providing services, such as assessment findings and the systems we manage, is covered by the service agreement and the signed assessment consent, not by this notice.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
We update this notice when our practices change. The date below shows the latest version.
